Annual Function 2024

The 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati and the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Arya Samaj which is based on Vedic principles are being celebrated with enthusiasm all over the world. This series of year-long programs was inaugurated by the Honorable Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh Ji by releasing a postage stamp of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati from Delhi.

A two-day renaissance convention was organized by Arya Samaj Gandhidham on 21-22 December. The Concluding part of the program was held on 22 December in the Prabhudarshan Auditorium in Adipur in the presence of eminent citizens of Gandhidham. Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati’s descendant Shri Parth Rawal and his family were specially present as the chief guests of the program. Arya Samaj was established in Gandhidham 70 years ago in 1954.

During this two-day program, the public benefited from the Havan and Vedic Discoureses. The Purnahuti program started with the feats of Aryavirs of Aryavir Dal, after which the ceremonial lamp lighting was done and then the President of Arya Samaj Gandhidham, Shri Vachonidhi Acharya gave information about the history of Arya Samaj Gandhidham. Acharya Sanjeev Roop ji, who had come from Gudhni, Uttar Pradesh, gave the explained in detail the 150 years history of Arya Samaj and Shri Parth Rawal, a descendant of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, was felicited by Arya Samaj Gandhidham with a turban and a memento. Shri Parth Rawal, a descendant of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, while throwing light on the life of Maharishi, said that it is a matter of pride to be born in the family of such a great soul and we all should follow the footsteps of Maharishi. We all should together protect the heritage of the Vedas, and we should understand the need to uproot the evils and superstitions prevalent in the society and work in that direction.
