The core mission of Arya Samaj Gandhidham is the upliftment of children and women through service and compassion. As part of our commitment to child charity, we run Jeevan Prabhat — a loving home and support center for earthquake adn calamity-affected children and widows. We care the orphaned children, providing them with shelter, education, and love — all free of cost and without any bias of caste or creed.

We rely entirely on child charity and online donations to meet their daily needs. These children are raised like our own, in a nurturing environment. Below are some of our recurring expenses — we humbly request you to sponsor a child or support any of the listed needs to help us continue this noble mission.

Recurring Expenses of rearing a child

The minimum annual expense required to support the education of a single child is ₹12,000. This amount covers essential needs and ensures the child receives quality education throughout the year. On a monthly basis, the expense is estimated to be ₹2,500 per child. This monthly expense is thoughtfully calculated to include all necessary components essential for the child’s educational development and well-being, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

Food : We provide the children with simple and balanced diet. This helps in their physical as well as mental growth.
Nutrition : As regards to nutrition we do have a specific programmed whereby the children are given milk, fruits, butter, ghee and other nutritional supplements.
Clothes : This includes clothes, night dress, under garments, shoes, chappals. bathroom slippers, bed sheets, mattresses, pillows, blankets etc.
Education : This covers school uniform, books, school shoes and other incidental schooling expenses. This does not cover school fees.
Medical : The children fall ill and we have to take them to the doctor and give them medicines.
Maintenance : Electricity, water and cleanliness are the basic requirements of human beings.

All religions say that charity is the true form of worship and specially child charity is the best form of charity and even God is pleased with it. At Arya Samaj we are totally dependent on child charity and donations for the rearing of the children as we do not take any Government grants for this. We are proud to say that we do not make any commercial use of our properties and there is no income generating activity which would help us in the rearing of these children. We also do not have any fixed deposits. Thus we are totally dependent on child charity and donations for the rearing of these children, we request you to sponsor a child and thus join hands with us in this work of child charity.
