As you are aware we at Arya Samaj Gandhidham are running Jeevan Prabhat- child charity (an orphanage cum widow home for the earthquake affected) and at present we have 162 children under our care.

These children belong to that section of the society which has always been underprivileged and downtrodden. Now these children have been given an opportunity to build their lives as they have come in the fold of Arya Samaj. The earthquake has proved a boon for them. As such they are now the National Property. We are just their managers while you the society members are now their real parents. Just like all the other children these children also have feelings and emotions, in fact they are more sensitive then the other children. We require your help in providing them love and affection.

Have you ever celebrated your Birthday with these children? If not then we humbly appeal to you to celebrate all your happy moments like Birthdays, anniversaries, etc. with them and thus provide them with warmth, love and affection and bring happiness in their lives. Please inform us your birthdate and also the birthdates of your near & dear ones. We invite you to participate in the function with your family & friends. There will be a special Havan to ask God’s blessings for you.

THE COST OF CELEBRATING YOUR BIRTHDAY WITH THE CHILDREN COMES TO ONLY RS. 5100/- (US $ 125) ONLY.

This includes a full meal with sweets to the children. This sum is paltry compared to the exorbitant costs of Hotels and Resorts, moreover the children are happy and you get the satisfaction of having done something for the underprivileged. Your birthday becomes a day of PAROPKAR (Child Charity).

If you are not able to attend your birthday celebrations then in your absentia we will perform a special Havan to ask God’s blessings for you and serve a one time meal with sweets to the children on your behalf.

Please spread this message of lighting a child’s face with smile to all your other family members and also amongst your friends & relatives. In fact you can celebrate any other happy occasion of your life with the children.

We thus request you to join hands with us in the rearing of these children and help us in bringing back the smile on their innocent faces.
