The main aim of Arya Samaj is the upliftment of children and women. At Arya Samaj Gandhidham we are also involved in child charity & Child Charities. We are running Jeevan Prabhat which is an orphanage cum widow home for the earthquake affected children and widows. At present we have 162 earthquake orphans and we are totally dependent on online donations and child charity for meeting their day to day needs. We are rearing these children like our own children totally free of cost and without any distinction of caste & creed.

Recurring Expenses of child charity - Child Charities - Sponsor a Child
The expense of Educating a child for one year: Our expense for one child is Rs. 7200/- per year.
Our conservative expense is Rs. 2000/- per month per child which includes
Food : We provide the children
with simple and balanced diet. This helps in their
physical as well as mental growth.
Nutrition : As regards to
nutrition we do have a specific programmed whereby
the children are given milk, fruits, butter, ghee
and other nutritional supplements.
Clothes : This includes clothes, night dress, under garments, shoes, chappals. bathroom slippers, bed sheets, mattresses, pillows, blankets etc.
Education : This covers school uniform, books, school shoes and other incidental schooling expenses. This does not cover school fees.
Medical : The children fall ill
and we have to take them to the doctor and give them
medicines.
Maintanance : Electricity, water
and cleanliness are the basic requirements of human
beings.
All religions say that charity is the true form of worship and specially child charity is the best form of charity and even God is pleased with it. At Arya Samaj we are totally dependent on child charity and donations for the rearing of the children and we do not take any Government grant for this. We are proud to say that we do not make any commercial use of our properties and there is no income generating activity which would help us in the rearing of these children. Thus we are totally dependent on child charity and donations for the rearing of these children, we request you to sponsor a child and thus join hands with us in this work of child charity..
